Who Should Buy The Nuova Simonelli G60 AMC Grinder?
Home User
Making espresso at home? The Nuova Simonelli G60 gives you cafe-quality results with micrometrical grind adjustment to get that perfect espresso shot.
Small Cafe
Small cafes need ways to improve efficiency or they can easily become overwhelmed by lines of customers appearing out of nowhere. The G60 is a super quick and highly precise grinder, giving you a full dose with even coffee particles in seconds.
Small Restaurant
Because the G60 is so fast and easy to use, it’s perfect for small restaurants with premium espresso on the menu. Give your food and beverage professionals the tools for success without an overcomplicated system.
Description
The AMC G60 is a powerful grinder for small businesses and home baristas.
Boasting 60 mm stainless steel flat burrs and a commercial grade motor, it creates a highly consistent grind in very little time compared with other grinders.
Gain access to the best possible results with micrometrical grind adjustment in the G60.
Micrometrical grind adjustment allows proficient baristas to dial in the grind as accurately as possible. Don’t compromise on quality—pick the grinder that lets you create the results you expect.
The precision offered by the G60 is something every high-quality coffee shop needs.
It’s one of the most budget-friendly high-end grinders on the market.
Key Features and What They Mean
Micrometric Grind Adjustment
Adjust the fineness of the grind to the exact point that you need for any coffee type and show off your signature espresso style.
Stainless Steel 60mm Flat Burrs
The flat burrs create amazingly consistent coffee particles that encourage a smooth, well-blended espresso flavor. Grind up to 1,000 pounds of coffee before needing to replace these quality burrs.
Commercial Grade Electric Motor
This powerful motor allows the Nuova Simonelli G60 to perform at a higher level, delivering results faster than other small grinders.
Portafilter Holder & Switch
A cradle will hold the portafilter in place while the machine is dosing. In other words, baristas can set the portafilter in the machine, hit the button, and walk away to attend to other drink-making tasks until it’s done.
Compact Transparent Bean Hopper
The compact 1 lb hopper provides more space overhead to fit under a low cabinet or counter if necessary.
Die-Cast Aluminum Body
Constructed with high-quality die-cast aluminum, this grinder is made of tough stuff that will last through heavy-duty wear and tear.

Common Questions and Answers
Q: What is micrometric grind adjustment in the G60 and what does it do?
A: A micrometric grind adjustment system is a stepless system of fineness settings.
Compared with a stepped system, or one that gives you a certain number of fineness settings to choose from, a stepless system gives you greater control since you’re free of preset notches.
When you’re determining how fine or coarse you want the grind to be, you’ll have the ability to turn the adjustment wheel in the tiniest of increments. In short, dialing in the espresso with a micrometric grinder gives you far more precise results.
This is very important to professional baristas and prosumers looking for the ultimate espresso shot—the “god shot,” if you will.
Q: What is the difference between flat burrs (like in the G60) and conical burrs?
A: Structure, for one thing. Flat burr grinders have two horizontally-facing flat burrs between which the coffee is crushed before dropping down into the portafilter.
With conical grinders, beans are dropped essentially vertically into the cone-shaped grinding mechanism. They’re ground with one burr rotating at lower RPM.
What does this do for the coffee?
Conical burr grinders create bimodal (multi-sized) particles, which are said to enhance brighter coffee flavors. Flat burr grinders, on the other hand, create totally uniform particles, which are meant to meld the coffee flavors together and enhance deeper flavors.

I've used a fair amount of other espresso machines in my restaurants, but this little one group maker has everything you'd look for in a larger machine and can easily keep up with the 30+ shots of espresso we do each hour. Love it!

Mazzer Super Jolly V Up is V-awesome!!
If you've ever owned a product from the 1970s or older, you know what it means to own something that is solidly built. The Super Jolly V Up is SOLID. It performs, and has my faith that it will continue to perform for the next decade. Its nice to look at, and instills trust that my business is covered when it comes to a solidly built, grinder that won't fail. Plus, with a name like Super Jolly.... how can you not want this grinder!
Once I had the crane lift it into place things went smoothly. Caution: this grinder is very heavy. Other than that - it's pretty much perfect. No clumps, no mess, no hands. Weight is determined by grinding time; single, double, and manual settings. Build quality is next level. Powerful, quiet, fast, and heavy.
I went from a Breville Barista Express to this dual boiler beauty and couldn't be happier with this purchase. Cost a pretty penny, but every espresso made makes me reassured about my purchase. Shipping took a few days longer than normal, but assumed that was due to the open box.
Steams milk incredibly quick, and my lattes taste even better! Hope this is my last espresso machine purchase since I don't think my wallet can take another hit like this.
I've had my Quick Mill Silvano machine for 3 years now. I purchased it after 2 Breville consumer machines crapped out after 2 years... one stopped making steam, the other leaked. And neither made great tasting coffee or substantial crema. So I took the plunge and purchased this machine and I'm so happy I did. What I love about it: the PID display of boiler temp and brew time. The simplicity of the controls. The fact that I can froth at the same time as pulling shots. The quality of the parts and longevity of the machine. The ease of cleaning. Finally, and most importantly, the great taste of the espresso I get every morning from the Silvano.
This is my first espresso machine. It came promptly as ordered, and it looks great. So far I am having some issues with how long it takes to produce the espresso, and I understand that the grind size, amount of grind, and how tightly it is tamped can affect how the machine performs. I have tried various combinations of grind size, amount, etc., and I find the machine takes 5 minutes to produce a shot, and that the espresso comes out in drops, not as a stream. This may be due to my inexperience in using the machine, but until I get feedback from Majesty coffee, I can only rate the machine 3 stars.
