1 Step Prontobar

The 1 Step Prontobar is the configuration that requires nothing more from the barista than pushing a button to start the drink-making process.

This configuration builds the entire drink in the coffee cup, starting with grinding and brewing espresso. 

For milk-based drinks, the 1 Step Prontobar will draw milk from a milk cooler, steam it to perfection, and add it to the coffee cup.

This machine is a master of efficiency. Absolutely anyone can use it, even with only five minutes of training.

Note: This configuration requires adding a milk cooler upon purchase.

2 Step Prontobar

The 2 Step Prontobar gives a little more control to the user. While this configuration still grinds coffee, tamps it, and brews the espresso on its own, it requires the user to steam milk.

With this configuration, the barista adds the milk to the steam pitcher and selects the appropriate steam option.

Milk steaming is still partially automated as the built-in Auto-Steam mechanism will froth the milk to the correct standards for the drink type without any additional input from the user.

Water Info

Returns must be accompanied with an RMA number. Please contact us in order to have one generated. Returned products must be in like-new condition and sent back in original packaging, including all original parts and accessories. Items may be subject to up to a 15% restocking fee. In-House Testing & Manufacturing Our espresso machines and grinders are high quality, specialty equipment. They are manufactured mainly in Italy, Spain, and Germany (for Mahlkonig grinders).

Some hand crafted machines may have slight imperfections from manually hammering the raw materials.

Many products are bench tested prior to shipping to ensure they are in perfect working condition before arriving at your location.

Therefore, some coffee grinds and remnants of water may be visible upon receiving the machine. This does not indicate the machine is used. We only ship brand new machines unless we state otherwise.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

Most of the items we carry, excluding commercial espresso machines, can be returned in 30 days. Any items cancelled before shipment will receive a full refund.

Returns must be accompanied with an RMA number. Please contact us in order to have one generated. Returned products must be in like-new condition and sent back in original packaging, including all original parts and accessories. Items may be subject to up to a 15% restocking fee. In-House Testing & Manufacturing Our espresso machines and grinders are high quality, specialty equipment. They are manufactured mainly in Italy, Spain, and Germany (for Mahlkonig grinders).

Some hand crafted machines may have slight imperfections from manually hammering the raw materials.

Many products are bench tested prior to shipping to ensure they are in perfect working condition before arriving at your location.

Therefore, some coffee grinds and remnants of water may be visible upon receiving the machine. This does not indicate the machine is used. We only ship brand new machines unless we state otherwise.

  • Factors otherwise referred to as Acts of God (fire, floods, weather, etc).
  • Will not cover expedited shipping costs to perform repairs or shipping costs after the first 30 days.

This thing is awesome and arrived SUPER quick!

Quick and easy with a little mess.

As advertised, it tamps consistently. Each tamping process is quicker and easier than manual tamping. I like the fact the process requires only one hand, as opposed to two in manual.
The only drawback is that the tamper surface gets dirty with the grind very quickly (because it does not 'twist" as in manual). After 3 or 4 tamps we have to clean it with a rug or a brush, leaving the coffee grind around the device.
Overall, we are happy with the purchase, and my overworked wrist with a tendonitis thanks a lot. I know it is an expensive investment, but loss of my hand will cost a lot more.

Well right at one year ago I got my Alex Leva and dearly love it .. But today after right at one year of use it has stopped working... You flick the on switch and nothing , the PID does not light up but the on/off switch lights up sometimes but not always.. Other than the light on the on/off switch the machine seems dead... I do hope this is not a big deal after just a year of use... Up until this point I would give my Alex Leva a five star rating , but now I may have to revise my review... We shall see.
