Beautiful with great results

There is a learning curve for anyone who has not used a lever. Do your research as to your grind,Lever force,
Tamp pressure which I found to be minimal. I use a rancilio rocky grinder on #8 same as rancilio Silvia.17g
A tool to break up clumps, and a distributor which also tamps the coffee down to about 1/4 in. No other tamping. Excellent shots!

This is my third La Pavoni Professional In 34 years. 17 years per machine seems reasonable to me especially for this beautifully designed machine With which I have made countless, delicious coffees for decades. While contemplating buying my third, I briefly considered another type of machine that I realized that I had no interest in a pushbutton, I like the process of pulling shots of espresso. I also appreciate that this machine has a fairly small footprint so it doesn’t take up too much room on my counter. And it has been a part of my family for so long. It is just the way we make coffee.I figure I may have to get one more machine in my lifetime and at that point I am confident I will get my fifth La Pavoni Professional!
