Water Level Sight Glass

Steam Pressure Gauge

When the needle on this gauge is in the green zone, the machine has enough steam pressure to brew the perfect espresso. Optimum pressure is between 0.8 and 1.3 BAR.

Spring Piston Operation

The brass piston makes this espresso machine different from other espresso machines that use a less durable plastic piston. Just pull down on the lever to activate the piston and fill your cup with espresso. Want a double? No problem; just do it twice.

    Warranty Notes: Use only soft water in this machine. Use of hard water can cause the machine to malfunction and is not covered by the warranty. Always make sure that the sight glass is always at least 25% full to avoid damage to the heating element. If a unit is returned with damage to the heating element, there will be a charge for repairs that will be deducted from the credit.

    The safety thermometer will reset the machine if there is no water moving through the machine at initial startup. If this happens, press the reset button under the yellow cap to restart the machine. If you continue to have issues with a machine purchased from us, email us for further instructions.

    Make certain that portafilter is properly installed in the grouphead and filled with finely ground coffee before pulling the lever down. Failure to do so may result in damage to the machine and injury.

      It was hard waiting for the multicolored Elektra a leva, but Majesty coffee people told me up front, that it could be a month before they got the shipment from Italy and it was.       This thing is awesome and arrived SUPER quick!

      Quick and easy with a little mess.

      As advertised, it tamps consistently. Each tamping process is quicker and easier than manual tamping. I like the fact the process requires only one hand, as opposed to two in manual.
      The only drawback is that the tamper surface gets dirty with the grind very quickly (because it does not 'twist" as in manual). After 3 or 4 tamps we have to clean it with a rug or a brush, leaving the coffee grind around the device.
      Overall, we are happy with the purchase, and my overworked wrist with a tendonitis thanks a lot. I know it is an expensive investment, but loss of my hand will cost a lot more.
